MANUAL THERAPY
Myofascial Release: A soft tissue therapy that elongates the tension built up within restricted muscle fibers, allowing proper oxygen/blood flow and circulation.
Cupping Therapy: Promotes lymphatic drainage of toxins and excess fluid build up, and creates a filter lifting the skin off of the muscle fascia tissue allowing an increase of blood flow to affected areas.
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue (IASTM): Manual instrumented assisted technique which effectively breaks up scar tissue and muscle adhesions.
Kinesio Taping: This is a specialty tape that is applied to hurting or aching muscles. It will help lift the skin, providing better blood flow, carrying oxygen to the muscles. This support will also ensure the muscles have time to rest and rebuild strength.
Post Surgical Rehabilitation: After surgery, the recovery rate depends on how fast normal range of motion is restored. Therefore the scar tissue component must be addressed along with integrating correct care exercises allowing the patient return the normal activities.
